Pediatric Physician


We are currently looking for a pediatric physician to join the provider staff at our Centennial office. Interested physicians should submit their CVs to Human Resources as noted below.

Referrals Specialist - Aurora Administrative Office

Full Time (4 days a week)

General Responsibilities:
     • Coordinate provider referrals to specialists
     • Coordinate administrative ADD/ADHD care
     • Initiate and manage prior authorization processes
     • Effectively use the computer and internet to verify eligibility and submit referrals to insurance companies
     • Effectively communicate with providers, patients, parents, APA team members, visitors to the practice, and other 
       business associates.

• High school diploma or equivalent
     • Previous experience with referrals preferred
     • Knowledge of diagnosis and CPT coding preferred
     • General knowledge of medical terminology preferred
     • Excellent customer service skills
     • Excellent computer skills

Telephone Triage Nurse (RN)

Full Time

General Responsibilities:
     • Assess and classify patients to determine appropriate medical needs and urgency of care
     • Schedule appointments when needed, according to scheduling guidelines
     • Communicate effectively and clearly with providers, patients, parents, APA team members, and representatives from hospitals regarding treatment plans and use and purpose of medication and prescriptions
     • Carry out telephone triage responsibilities based on established APA medical guidelines, nursing process, and
ClearTriage Systems telephone protocols
      • Adhere to APA EMR guidelines

      • Bachelor of Science/Arts in Nursing
      • Current Colorado RN license required
      • CPR certification required
      • One-year professional nursing experience with background in pediatrics and previous telephone triage experience
      • Knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice
      • Computer/keyboard skills; good typing skills to 40 wpm preferred
      • Ability to communicate clearly
      • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations

Business Office Patient Representative

Full Time (36 hours)

General Responsibilities:
     • Answer incoming calls to business office
     • Collect and post patient payments
     • Make a high volume of outgoing calls to patient families regarding account balances
     • Manage the collection work-queues in EPIC to identify and work past due accounts
     • Communicate with parents by phone and e-mail to resolve account issues
     • Manage discharge process when required

     • High school diploma or equivalent
     • 3 years medical office experience
     • Practice management software experience, EPIC preferred
     • Good computer skills to include Word, Excel
     • Medical collection and health insurance knowledge
     • Excellent communication and customer service skills
