Pediatric Physician


We are currently looking for a pediatric physician to join the provider staff at our Centennial office. Interested physicians should submit their CVs to Human Resources as noted below.

Financial Administrative Assistant

Full Time

General Responsibilities:
     • The Financial Administrative Assistant assists the Practice Administrator in the accounting, financial, and business operations of the practice
     • The primary functions of this position include: accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor contract management, reconciliation of all bank and credit card accounts, and assisting with meetings, monthly reports and special projects.

• High school diploma or equivalent
     • Must have a minimum of five years' accounting & financial experience using QuickBooks
     • A Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred
     • Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to handle a variety of tasks with attention to detail and accuracy
     • Strong computer skills are required, including Excel and Word
     • The ability to maintain strict confidentiality is required

Referrals Specialist - Aurora Administrative Office

Full Time (4 days a week)

     • Coordinate provider referrals to specialists
     • Coordinate administrative ADD/ADHD care
     • Initiate and manage prior authorization processes
     • Effectively use the computer and internet to verify eligibility and submit referrals to insurance companies
     • Effectively communicate with providers, patients, parents, APA team members, visitors to the practice, and other 
       business associates.

• High school diploma or equivalent
     • Previous experience with referrals preferred
     • Knowledge of diagnosis and CPT coding preferred
     • General knowledge of medical terminology preferred
     • Excellent customer service skills
     • Excellent computer skills

Medical Assistant - Centennial

Telephone Triage Nurse (RN)

Advanced Pediatric Associates is currently recruiting for both full and part time Telephone Triage Nurses to serve our patients and their families.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, friendly and professional, and will possess excellent customer service and computer skills. The successful Telephone Triage RN will focus their compassionate care for our pediatric patients over the phone; assessing the patients' needs in determining appropriate medical care while making sure to adhere to established APA medical guidelines, nursing processes, ClearTriage Systems telephone protocols, and EMR guidelines.

NOTE: This is NOT a telecommuting/work from home position. This position is located at our Administrative Office, located at 3300 S. Parker Rd., Aurora, CO 80014, but supports all 4 practice locations via a centralized triage department.

     • Provide telephone triage care to patients utilizing nursing process and standard protocols
     • Schedule appointments when needed according to scheduling guidelines
     • Effectively use computer to accurately document all triage calls, prescription refills, and prior-authorization requests
     • Accurately calculate medication dosage
     • Collaborate with providers to ensure excellent care
     • Provide clear, concise instructions to providers, patients and families regarding treatment plans and use and purpose of medication and prescriptions
    • Completely and accurately document all triage calls and note protocol used; follow-up on medically concerning calls

      • Bachelor of Science/Arts in Nursing
      • Current Colorado RN license required
      • CPR certification required
      • One-year professional nursing experience with background in pediatrics
      • Previous telephone triage experience preferred
      • Knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice
      • Computer/keyboard skills
      • Good typing skills to 40 wpm preferred
      • Ability to communicate clearly
      • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
